A: Our Airport pick-up and drop-off service is completely free.

Once you land and have collected the luggage call us and our courtesy shuttle will pick you up from a designated meeting point, located just outside the arrival terminals.
We will bring you to our rental location, which is 5 minutes from the Brisbane Airport and complete the check-out so that you can go on your way asap. Our office hours: 08:00AM to 06:00PM, 7 days a week.

Our shuttle bus operates between 8.00am and 5.30pm, 7 days per week however this can be subject to availability. We are unable to offer pick-ups and drop offs outside of these hours.

A: You and any authorised driver must only use the vehicle on a road which is properly formed and sealed.

All our vehicles are geo-fenced and cannot be driven beyond 500km radius of Brisbane City Centre.

A breach of this fence will attract a penalty of $1000.

A: Your planned route may involve travel along roads that have mandatory tolls. These toll roads no longer have payment booths and require the vehicle to have an e-Tag.

All toll charges will be calculated and charged when you check the car back in. Crazy Clark’s charges an admin fee of $3 per day of toll roads usage. E.g. if you rent for 10 days and use the toll roads on 2 of those days, we will charge you additional $6 admin fee on top of actual toll charges.

Yes. We supply the car full of fuel and require the car be brought back full of fuel. An admin fee plus fuel costs will be charged if the car is not brought back with a full tank of fuel.
A: Learner Drivers (L Plate) are not permitted to rent vehicles from us.
Drivers who hold a valid Provisional Licence (P Plate) may rent from Crazy Clark’s Car Rentals under the following provisions:

 The “P Plate” driver must have held his/her P Plate license for a minimum period of the 12 months prior to the start of the rental.
 The customer must provide a “P plate” for display on the vehicle. These are readily available from most service stations.
 The customer must accept the full LDW option
 The customer will abide by the terms of the rental contract as well as those restrictions associated with the license

A: Only named/nominated drivers whose name appears on the Rental Agreement, or attachments, may drive.

Each driver must be listed on the Rental Agreement and must present their driver’s licence at time of collection.

An additional driver fee of $5 per day applies per driver for up to a maximum of 10 days ($50 max per rental period).

Any rental agreement can have maximum of 4 additional drivers.

A: Report the accident to the Police immediately.

Ensure all details of any third parties, witnesses and police that attend at the scene are recorded and contact us immediately.

Do not admit liability. Our staff will assist and advise accordingly. You can collect all details needed in case of accident on the back of our terms and conditions booklet.

A: Our vehicles can NOT be used to tow or push anything, this forms part of the rental terms and conditions.
A: Standard Damage Cover is included in the Rental Charges with an excess of $4000 for all vehicles.

We have various excess reduction options available from $20 a day which you can choose from when you collect your vehicle.

A: Payment is made in full upon arrival for the advised rental duration. Credit Card details are required to confirm your enquiry or reservation. These details can be changed upon arrival. Please ensure the Credit Card holder is present upon arrival.
A: For the holding deposit, we do require the main driver of the vehicle to hold a valid current credit card and be present on arrival. Crazy Clark’s Car Rentals does require a Holding Deposit up to the chosen excess on the hirers credit or debit card. However, we can waive the deposit if the customer takes out our excess reduction on a case by case basis. Upon return of the vehicle in the same condition as it was when rented, the Deposit will be returned. The time taken to return the deposit is dependent on the customer’s bank. It can take 5-10 clear business days for the funds to be fully available.
A: Yes, a Debit card can be used to settle the payment, however all our rentals need a Credit Card as a security with an amount blocked as an authorisation only. This amount will be released once the payment is complete using a valid Debit Card.
A: Yes, subject to availability, we do hire baby and booster seats for a nominal daily fee of $5.00 per day, capped at a maximum of $50.00 per hire.

All vehicles have the required fittings. Vehicle manufacturers provide a maximum of three anchor points in all vehicles. Be sure to include this with your online reservation.

Please note: For safety reasons, Crazy Clark’s Car Rentals will not install your baby seat or booster seat. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the seat is installed correctly. Crazy Clark’s Car Rentals will not be liable for any incorrect baby seat or booster seat installations.

A: Yes, you can, and costs are as follows

• More than 48 hours from your reservation there is a full refund, no charge.

• Within 48 hours of your reservation a 1-day rental is applied as a cancellation fee.
A no-show fee of 1-day rental is also charged in case you fail to show up at the time of rental pick-up.

A: Yes, confirmed reservations can be altered, they are subject to availability. The cost of the rental when things such as dates, length of hire and/or vehicle category are changed.
A: Once you have completed our online booking, you will receive an email for your reservation request with a “Reservation Number”. One of our team members will be in contact within 24 hours to arrange payment and confirm your reservation over the phone during our business hours so please ensure your contact details are correct. If we cannot contact you, your reservation request cannot be guaranteed. It is important to remember or note down your “Reservation Number” for future reference and further communications with our team members. A: Yes, please select pick-up location and drop-off location on the reservation page.
A: All drivers must have current valid driver’s licences and any translations of international licenses as well as a passport. A valid credit card in the same name as the Rental Agreement, Your “Reservation Number” or reservation confirmation from our booking partners.
A: Our “Areas of Use” are set to prevent unnecessary wear and tear or damage to our vehicles. Driving outside of these areas results in a major breech of our rental agreement and insurance will not cover you for any damages incurred in these areas.

Off-road driving, driving on un-sealed roads, beaches etc. is not allowed on our vehicles.

A: You are responsible for all fines, traffic infringements and any unpaid parking fees. Where we need to supply your details to a third party to nominate you as the person in charge of the vehicle at the time of the offence an administrative fee of $55 applies.
A: We set a minimum and maximum age limit for those renting our vehicles. You and any Authorised Driver must be at least 21 and not over 75 years of age and have no less than 12 months driving experience, unless we have agreed to a variation of that restriction before the Start of the Rental and it is shown in the Rental Agreement.
A: You will need an International Drivers Permit or translation in English if your local driver’s licence is not written in English. For example, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, etc. You must present BOTH your locally issued driver’s licence AND an International Drivers Permit/Translation in this situation. If your driver’s licence IS written in Roman Alphabet characters, then you only need to present your current local valid driver’s licence and passport.
A: The car must be inspected by a team member before it can be checked back in.
A: Yes 24-hour roadside assistance with RACQ is covered in all rentals. Please note a ‘human error call out’ will incur a $155 (GST included) service fee. For example, keys locked in car, out of fuel or lights left on and battery going flat.
A: We cannot speak for any insurance policies that you may have in place. You are responsible to ensure you have ample cover for any external policies. Unfortunately, accidents and damage do occur; so, we ask that you ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of any policies. We are unable to act on the hirer’s behalf, or assist when making claims. Please also note that the full insurance excess will be charged to you for you to recoup from your insurer if you have an external policy. We advise if you rent with us or any other provider that you take suitable excess reduction options to reduce your liability as a hirer.
A: Payment is to be made in Australian Dollars (AUD).
We accept Visa and MasterCard Credit and Debit Cards, Eftpos, a 2.5% surcharge applies for all card payments. A Visa or MasterCard Credit Card will also be required for security purposes.
A: Cash can be used to make payment for the rental, provided a valid credit card is used for the holding deposit under the following conditions:
• Full Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is accepted and paid in full.
• A pre-authorisation, equal to the vehicle excess must left as security
• Cash cannot be used for the pre-authorisation/bond
A: Rental rates are subject to availability and demand. Once a reservation is made “Online” and confirmed by one of our team members, the rate will be secured and not subject to change provided there is availability.
A: Yes, subject to availability and additional payment. The rental duration can be extended at the time of check out or during the rental itself. You will need to contact a team member by phone or come in in person.
A: All our rates are available on our website, simply select the duration of your rental, pick up and drop off times and location. Then select the vehicle required and hit the NEXT tab to proceed to the next screen where a total inclusive of GST will be displayed with any extra options you may need to also be selected. If you then wish to make a reservation request follow the prompts once again hit the NEXT tab, you MUST read and agree to the Terms & Conditions to proceed past this point. Select NEXT again and you will be directed to our secure personal information page, enter your details and select RESERVE NOW tab and we will be in contact with you within 24 hours.
Yes we do. We need additional proof of residence, a security bond and a mobile contact verification. This can be as follows:

Proof of residence: we need at least two of the following proof of residence, in addition to a valid Driver’s license with current address on the back. These documents need to be dated within 30 days of rental car pick-up:
1. Electricity bill
2. Gas bill
3. Water bill
4. Council rate
5. Landline, NBN or internet bill

Security Bond: An amount equal to the deposit amount listed on our Liability Reduction Sheet, will either be pre-authorised on your Credit Card or blocked on the Debit Card. No rental can be fulfilled without a credit card security. This amount will be released once the vehicle is returned without any damage.

Yes provided all rental formalities and payment has been made plus a $20 after hours fee, along with security bond paid prior to you picking up your rental vehicle. One of our team members will be able to arrange this with you via phone and email.
